Mr. Chang earned a bachelor’s degree with concentrations in economics and political science at New York University, where he was awarded with the Omicron Delta Epsilon. Furthering his education, he received an MBA from Yale University. He is currently earning a master’s degree in public administration from the Harvard University John F. Kennedy School of Government.
A serial entrepreneur, Raymond Nobu Chang founded two businesses in Shanghai, China, and a third in Taipei, Taiwan. He most recently served as the CEO of New Focus Auto, which he propelled to a leading position in the Chinese automobile after-sales industry. Raymond Nobu Chang facilitated this success by negotiating partnerships with Michelin, Mobile Oil, and other product suppliers, as well as by securing investment funding through private equity firms.Prior to building New Focus, he developed his television shopping venture Luckypai Limited. He led the company to a successful market exit five years from its inception at a value of $160 million. Luckypai had more than 2,000 employees.
